2021 Winter Storms
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued an allocation of $43,632,000 in CDBG-DR funding to the State of Texas in response to the 2021 Winter Storms. HUD has designated Dallas, Harris, and Tarrant counties as most impacted and distressed.

2018 South Texas Floods & 2019 Disasters
The Action Plan for the 2019 Disasters has been approved by HUD. An addition HUD allocation brings the total disaster funds allocation to $227,510,000.
The Action Plan for the 2018 Floods has been published and approved by HUD. The total disaster funds allocation for Cameron, Hidalgo, and Jim Wells to $72,913,000.

Hurricane Harvey
Through multiple appropriations from Congress, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has allocated more than $5.676 billion in Community Development Block Grants for Disaster Recovery funds.
The GLO will administer these funds for housing, infrastructure, and planning through state and local programs.

2016 Floods
After multiple allocations from HUD, the GLO has published the Action Plan for $238,895,000 in CDBG-DR funds as a result of the 2016 Floods.
Included in the Action Plan is the HUD requirement that 80% of the funds go to Brazoria, Fort Bend, Harris, Montgomery, and Newton Counties.
